Wondrous Weeds! Common Spring Plants as Medicine
Saturday, April 22
1–5pm
Join folk herbalist Kate
Abarbanel in an exciting exploration of Spring weeds. Spring weeds are abundant
medicine for cleansing our bodies and spirits. They facilitate a smooth
transition between the Winter and Spring seasons. They are bursting from the
cracks in sidewalks, climbing up fences, taking over garden beds asking for our
attention! In this class we will explore how to create medicine and nourishing
foods with these abundant plants. We will also go in depth into healing properties
and historical uses.
