Upcoming Class: Influenza Prevention

Wednesday, September 30 6-8:30pm
The best preparation for flu season is helping yourself and your loved ones prevent sickness in the first place. This class will detail numerous and sensible ways to do this, beginning with daily food and lifestyle choices. In addition, we will discuss the silent and chronic drains on immunity that tax our body’s ability to respond appropriately to virulent pathogens and acute illness. You will leave with solid information to help you stock the home kitchen and pharmacy with plant medicines to deal with: the primary challenges of influenza; a potentially excessive inflammatory response; as well as secondary, and often resistant, upper respiratory infections. Taught by herbalist Carol Trasatto.

Cost: $40 To register: Call Radiance at 360-357-5250.

Vibrational medicines like flower essences and homeopathic remedies are uniquely accessible to our intuitive minds. In this short, fun class, we'll discuss methods for accessing intuitive information, and filtering it from the static of our everyday minds. Then we'll try out these techniques with a selection of flower essences. Taught by Heather Dunn.

Cost: $10 To register: Call Radiance at 360-357-5250.

Upcoming Class: Changing Woman

Saturday, September 26 or Saturday, November 14 11am to 3pm

“I’m interested, but I’m not quite there yet.” Is this your response? I encourage you to consider the truth that for most women, perimenopause is a journey lasting many years, bringing with it subtle or not-so-subtle changes in emotional stability, sexual interest, sleep patterns, flexibility, hair, skin, muscle tone, urinary continence, as well as the infamous hot flashes, heavy bleeding, altered cycle length, cramping, and so on. There are often multiple waves of varying signals announcing that the change is underway; each woman is unique and yet we are all going through this together. There is no time like the present to learn more about what your bodymind is undergoing and how to support your particular process with tonifying plants.
Learn ways to navigate hormonal changes [and herbal and medical advice!] without losing your mind, your job or your relationship! Spend an afternoon with other women exploring ways to reorient your health and your emotional experience so that the next phase of life is not a “withering” but an ever more beautiful expression of your whole self. Herbs, foods, essential oils, flower essences, and other approaches can be of great assistance in dealing with this powerful transition.
Please join us and bring a friend. You will walk away with a wholistic picture of what is happening as well as many specifics to help guide you on. There will be an assortment of tasty supportive foods and teas for you to sample. Taught by herbalist Carol Trasatto. Class size is limited so please register early.

Cost: $75 includes supplies and many handouts $65 each if two friends register and pay at same time To register: Call Radiance at 360-357-5250.
