October Class Feature - Natural Approaches to Vibrant Aging

Natural Approaches to Vibrant Aging

Sunday, October 22
1–4pm

All living matter undergoes arisal and decay, breakdown and renewal. As our bodies age, the breakdown process can become more successful than the renewal of healthy tissue. This tendency results in the visible and experienced process of aging.

The choices we make each day can make all the difference in how we experience the aging mind and body. Respecting the needs of our beings and orienting our perspective and behaviors toward vibrancy sets the foundation for maturing with grace and vitality—as free from pain and emotional distress as possible. In this class, we will review these factors and discuss medicinal plants and other nutritional support to help optimize body dynamics toward vibrant function and harmony.

We will also discuss general considerations for working with herbs, adapting to a contaminated biosphere, as well as discuss natural approaches to address some of the common complaints that often accompany aging. Whatever your current age—if you plan to live a long and vibrant life—this class will help guide your steps to a vital present as well as future.
