Dragon's Blood Now at Radiance

Dragon's blood is a deep red, shiny resin used in incense burning; most often produced from the rattan palms of the genus Daemonrops of the Indonesian islands. It is gathered by breaking off the layer of red resin that encases the unripe fruit of the rattan. The collected resin is then rolled into solid balls before being sold.
Dragon's blood resin creates a deep powerful herbal and spicy fragrance, that somewhat resembles benzoin and cinnamon mixed together. Used as an Incense, it is best burned on charcoal. It's considered to be cleansing and as such, has been added in small amounts to Frankincense mixtures used in churches. Dragon's blood resin has also been used for thousands of years in India as part of their rituals.
The ancients used Dragon's blood resin as an incense for love, protection and to clear negative energies. It is said to be particularly good when moving into a new house. The powerful cleansing smoke was said to bring balance and clarity wherever it was used. For thousands of years, native peoples have gathered the sap from sacred trees to be burned and to enhance their spiritual work.
Radiance now carries premium Dragons Blood resin in bulk along with the bulk Frankincense and Myrrh resins.
