Preparedness: Naturally, Healthfully, & Holistically

You’ve seen the press: the public authorities are telling us to have three days of food, water and supplies ready in case of emergency; local grocery stores have put out “needed item” lists. How do we do this naturally and holistically, what do we need, how much and for how long? Last winter’s storm showed us that three days might not be quite enough. In this preparedness class we will discuss: safe, feasible options for storage; tasty and healthy safe food canning; solar options for cooking and power; aromatherapy and other natural and herbal aids for health and well-being. We will have handouts with lots of great suggestions, resources, recipes.
