Intermediate Aromatherapy for Health and Well-Being

This class is for those that have a basic understanding of essential oils and want to learn more. We will discuss how to determine the quality, the methods of production and the therapeutic uses of 10 different essentials oils. We'll design an effective blend for each of you to take home.

Instructor: Kerri Ward Merrill. Kerri is a licensed holistic esthetician, who trained under aromatherapy experts Michael Scholes and Dr. Kurt Schnaubelt. She specializes in natural health and beauty using plant and flower essences and enjoys sharing her knowledge of aromatherapy with a wide variety of individuals through her workshops, therapeutic facials and aromatherapy consultations.

Cost: $40 for the intermediate class only. Take both the beginning (Oct. 29^th) and intermediate class and pay $35 for each.  Must register and pay for both classes at the same time to get the discount.

Simple Candle Magic

3–5pm

Imbuing candles with our intentions and feelings is one of the oldest forms of magic known. In this class, we will go over: choosing the right candle, colors and their meanings, commonly used symbols and personal symbolism, a brief guided meditation to help you imbue your candle, along with a reference guide outlining some magical applications of essential oils. You will be creating your own special heartfelt candle in class, using 100% beeswax candles; we will be using organic essential oils to anoint them. This is a fun-filled class, full of love, laughter and magic!

Instructor: Bonnie Witcher, LMP. Bonnie is a massage therapist at Radiance Herbs & Massage. She is also a local artist and absolutely loves what she does, on both counts. She is known for her healing touch, her inner Love Light and her magical hugs. She has been practicing Wicca for more than 20 years and is excited to pass her knowledge onto others.

Make Your Own Magical Natural Perfume

6–8pm

Do you love essential oils? In this class, we will study the properties of the aromatic oils and craft a magical natural perfume blend. This evening is for those who want to create a signature scent for themselves or for a loved one and for those who want to use essential oils to help invoke their heart’s desire. All the supplies are included. You will leave with two personalized perfume blends.

Instructor: Karin Olsen, LMP. Karin has been a massage therapist and has been working with aromatherapy for more than 20 years. She owns Radiance Herbs & Massage. She has been studying plants for more than 15 years. And, recently, she has strengthened her connection to the magickal and spiritual realm by studying the shamanic path.
