Monthly Class Feature - Energy Realignment

Energy Realignment

Fourth Tuesday of the month
6:15–7:15pm

A realignment of energy is the ability to clearly claim and identify what makes you come alive and then move yourself into alignment with it.  I will lead you through an experience of defining your intention, listing your obstacles, what you’re willing to let go of and what strengths and actions you need to take to realize your intention.

We will do exercises designed to specifically address the energy that needs to shift, such as breathing, visualizing, movement, toning, etc. These exercises align all of your energy to your intention. We will end the experience with a guided meditation, with me playing singing bowls.

If you would like a deeper sense of self, a deeper sense of peace, more clarity and harmony in your life, this is a fantastic way to get you on your way. You will leave feeling lighter and humming with your heart and the heart of creation.

Instructor: Beth Hyer LMP, Certified Resonance Repatterning Practitioner and Sound healer. Beth has been a Licensed Massage Practitioner since 2001 and completed her Resonance Repatterning certification in 2013. March Class Feature - Making Kombucha at Home

Making Kombucha at Home

Saturday, March 11
11:30–1pm

Healthy bacteria and probiotics are essential for optimal health and kombucha, a traditional fermented tea drink, has an abundance of both! Join Julie the founder of Oly-Cultures and learn to make kombucha, an effervescent drink, at home. After exploring which teas and sugars work best with kombucha, students will be shown how to create the first batch. As that brew develops and the second fermentation begins, Julie will discuss bottling, storage of the Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast (SCOBY), offer tips for customizing kombucha with natural flavors, and share several tasty samples with students. Stop spending a small fortune on your kombucha habit and learn to make your own in this popular class.

Did you know that 70% of our immune system takes place in our gut? Therefore, keeping a healthy digestive system is very important. Healthy bacteria and probiotics in our diet are vital to achieving this balance. Kombucha has an abundance of both probiotics and the healthy bacteria.

Instructor: Julie Kamin-Martin. Julie, the owner and founder of Oly-Cultures. She has been making kombucha for her family and friends for several years. Being a native of the Pacific Northwest she also actively gathers and harvests many of the raw foods native to the area which she incorporates in kombucha: Oregon grape, cloudberry, nettles and blackberry.

Great Chocolate Almonds, but be careful! They are addictive!

Chocolate Cartel serves up some amazing chocolate covered almonds!
It's a great choice for Valentine's Day!

"Exceptional chocolates only begin with quality ingredients. There's absolutely no substitute for premium chocolate. The Venezuelan criollo cacao makes up less than 10% of the cocoa beans used worldwide. The yield from the cacao tree is small but the dark cherry roasted flavor makes criollo stand alone as the best.
We use "El Rey" Venezuelan chocolate in our blend for its superior quality, commitment to fair trade, and organic farming practices. With mild spices, our pure dark chocolate couverture defines excellence in chocolate.
Every step for each of the amazing chocolates we create is conducted with the carefully skilled hands of a master chocolatier. Few chocolatiers put as much focus and effort into producing complete chocolate perfection."

Treat Your Skin! Especially in this cold weather!

We love OHA.

"Many of the ingredients used in the OHA product line have had positive results when tested for wrinkle and scar reduction, and also the reversal and healing of acne, rosacea and psoriasis.
The ingredients utilized in the OHA product formulations are known to reduce inflammation and eliminate free radicals that interfere with the skin’s regenerative and detoxifying processes. Good nutrition, healthy lifestyle habits and a therapeutic skin care program such as OHA, are proven to reduce and prevent skin damage and premature aging.
What makes OHA products different from other natural skin care or cosmeceutical products?
OHA Bio-Active Skin Care is not just just a “clean” and “natural” organic skin care system. Our passion for healthy skin led us to create a skin care system that delivers results by using Bio-Active, Biologically Familiar and Non-RBD ingredients. This powerful system will produce a healthy, youthful complexion and bring balance to all skin conditions.
Our formulations are designed to retain radiant and beautiful skin throughout the normal aging process OHA uses organic botanicals, therapeutic essential oils and restorative nutrients that together create a complete and effective skin care system. This combination produces exceptional therapeutic skin care products that surpass today’s consumer demands.
Cosmetics made with cosmeceuticals often use synthetic petrochemicals as a base for their nutrient ingredients. A synthetic base offers no therapeutic function and can hinder nutritive absorption. Natural products that contain cosmeceuticals usually limit the number of botanical ingredient they use, which minimizes the healing potential in their product base. These so-called ‘natural products’ may still include synthetic preservatives. There are no inert, or nonactive, ingredients in OHA. Practically every ingredient provides a therapeutic benefit to the skin."
